One of the most frequent comments we hear following cataract surgery is “everything is so bright!”.

A cataract is a clouding of the lens inside your eye.  Just like when the windscreen of your car gets dirty and makes it difficult to see, as the lens becomes cloudy colours and shapes gradually fade and blur.

JulEYE – Australians focusing on eyes for the month of July

Every year, the RANZCO Eye Foundation encourages all Australians to look after their eyes with regular eye checks as well as support eye health world-wide by donating to programs in Myanmar, Timor-Leste (East Timor) and closer to home in the Kimberley.
